Kidzworld Learning Centre is a licensed year-round home day care for infant through twelve year old children.  We are located in the Stonecrest neighborhood near the West side of Elgin.

Home Day Care

Home day care, also known as family day care, is just what it sounds like: an arrangement where care is provided for children in the home of the day care provider.  Studies have shown that home day care is a great alternative to commercial day care centers. The consistency of caregiver, small group size and warm home environment are all advantages of the home day care.  Home day care is a popular option as seen in a recent report that says that in Illinois nearly 20% of day care slots are provided by family day care homes.

About Kidzworld Learning Centre

We are a home day care center that is committed to providing the highest quality of care.  We love the kids that we teach and care for them as if they were our own.  Our experience includes raising and teaching six of our own kids, working in traditional child care centers, and volunteering in other programs for children.  We provide intellectually stimulating activities and help our children to learn and grow mentally, socially and physically.

At Kidzworld Learning Centre...
  • We are trained and certified in CPR and first aid for infants and children
  • We provide healthy meals and snacks in accordance with the USDA child food program
  • We have a large, fenced in back yard with a play set that provides a safe environment for outdoor activities
  • During the school year we teach a preschool/kindergarten curriculum to prepare children and give them a head start for school
  • We maintain a healthy, safe and completely smoke-free environment
  • We will provide occasional field trips for unique and exciting learning opportunities
